About Olivia Zavalick

Olivia Zavalick (formerly Osborn) is a healthcare operations and implementation leader who helps large health systems turn complex technology rollouts into lasting improvements in how patients get care. Her work has helped organizations improve access metrics, reduce patient wait times, increase provider utilization, and raise patient satisfaction scores.

Olivia’s career has been built on hands-on work in the field, helping lead large implementations at the country's most respected academic medical centers, as well as regional academic health systems serving largely rural populations. That range has taught her how to deliver in very different care settings, from dense urban networks to communities where access is hardest to come by.

Due to her work across the clinical and operational sides of healthcare, Olivia brings a unique perspective. She began her career as an EMT and later worked in the emergency room, where she saw firsthand how operational gaps affect patients and clinicians. As an administrator at Boston Children's Hospital, she came to understand the barriers and pain points leaders face, and she learned to weigh operational decisions from a system-wide view. As a healthcare consultant with Huron Consulting Group, she helped health systems strengthen operations and execute complex transformations.

As a result, Olivia understands how decisions impact the patient in the room, the staff delivering care, and the leaders accountable for the whole system.

Her work centers on the parts of the healthcare system patients feel first: patient access, patient experience, and ambulatory care. She has led and supported projects across scheduling, registration, referral management, and patient flow, spanning dozens of clinics and affecting thousands of end users. She also brings deep experience with EHR integrations and extensive knowledge of Epic, ensuring that new tools connect seamlessly with the systems clinicians and staff already use.

Olivia knows that a go-live succeeds or fails on its operational details: clean workflows, clear governance, strong training, and front-line staff who trust the new system.
