We’re just back from what was a fantastic return to form for one of the biggest events on the healthcare industry calendar, the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition. This year’s edition made it quite clear that it is the premiere gathering for suppliers and consumers of innovations and solutions that redefine the healthcare space.
The turnout was at record levels, proving that not only are we moving back to pre-pandemic levels of activity but that digital solutions have a bigger role in healthcare than ever before.
In addition to sharing our own solutions, it was a fantastic opportunity to meet and chat with everyone from end-users to solution providers and everyone in between.
These countless conversations over three days were the perfect chance to put our finger on the pulse on the industry and get to know more about the emerging challenges, trends, and topics that will soon take over the spotlight.
Kapil Asher, Healthcare Practice Lead at Kontakt.io, says “We’re seeing that if you ask any C-level healthcare executive right now, their biggest challenge is the workforce. Everyone’s heard about the Great Resignation, a lot of employees are feeling burned out and quitting their jobs and so the leaders suddenly feel the need to do more with less. We’re helping hospitals to solve their problems. By helping them be more productive, reducing search time for medical equipment, and enabling them to spend more time with patients. We’re helping nurses with staff duress solutions that make them feel more safe at work, reducing turnover and increasing satisfaction.”
With so many solutions to various healthcare challenges under one roof, it was also the perfect setting to highlight how Kontakt.io stands apart from other solution providers.
Lauran Hazan, VP of Product at Kontakt.io, had many opportunities to explain that “The biggest core value is to be amazingly simple, from users to partners to tech support. Getting from installation to outcomes is fast and we are API-led, which helps users work the way they want to while still leveraging powerful IoT. Also, the AI-powered algorithms behind our solutions learn and improve as they collect data.”
Overall, HIMSS 2022 was a resounding success and an encouraging sign that the intersection of healthcare and technological innovation of every kind continues to attract more and better solutions than ever before.
If you weren’t able to attend the event in person and chat with us about how Kontakt.io can improve outcomes in your healthcare facility much more easily than you might expect, let’s talk today!
