Beacon technology is currently a hot topic. Nevertheless, it is still difficult to find quality information about the performance, results, and the real impact of proximity marketing on business revenue, and customer activity.
The vast majority of use cases that you can find belong to one of two categories:
And most of them speak only about the customer’s side. There’s nothing wrong with that, but you need to remember that proximity --as a win-win solution-- should work for both parties. There are tons of articles that talk about how beacons improve the customers’ experience, but we haven’t seen as many talking about hard ROI on beacons for businesses.
