For a sustainable customer relations experience, KNS is implementing synchronized Digital Marketing Platforms managed by one hand. As an important part of the Digital Marketing Platform, Beacons give KNS a competitive edge in shaping their location-based marketing solutions.
Early on, KNS gathered data by tracking the online behavior of customers. While this enabled them to understand customer spending and provide marketing solutions in regards to specific behavioural data, it limited their ability to deliver location based marketing. KNS needed to find a new technology that could enhance their services without being intrusive.
KNS extended their data analysis and better customized location based proximity marketing through the use of beacons. After their first launch, the engagement of Automotive Infotainment Systems, wearable technologies like smartwatches, and health/activity trackers helped increase initially low Bluetooth opening rates, resulting in higher Bluetooth-related engagements and an overall increase in beacon efficiency.
Employing beacons was a game changer for KNS, who is now able gather not only more behavioral data online, but also expand their offline reach where data had previously been limited. Location-based data diversified their capabilities and enabled KNS to gain insights faster.
