internet-of-things

Having grown from a small group of friends to the leading
Bluetooth beacon provider, Kontakt.io recognizes the importance of technology and making the world a better place now more than ever.

We want to encourage and recognize innovative ways to change the world with IoT. That’s why we’ve created the Kontakt.io IoT Scholarship for high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate students with a passion for technology.

Students who are currently enrolled in the areas of business, marketing, IT, or communications may be extremely interested in this program, but this isn’t a requirement–passion to change the world through technology is enough.

1. General Terms of Participation

To be considered for this scholarship program you will have to research and write an essay between 500-1000 words on the subject:

How can beacons change the world?

We want you to include the following topics:

  • How will the Internet of Things affect everyday life?
  • How do beacons fit into this picture?

The candidate who impresses and surprises us the most will not only receive $1000 that can be used either in course materials or resources but also a beacon development kit to implement their own ideas.

2. Eligibility and Creativity

This scholarship is only available for students currently enrolled in colleges, universities or high schools.

The piece of content must be unique and creative as well as authoritative and convincing. Please use several references. For inspiration, feel free to check out our own Kontakt.io and Proximity Studio blogs.
